Footy Colours Day 2015

Come on down to the Bowlo on Friday the 4th Sept and help raise money for the Fight Cancer Foundation.

A gold coin donation is all we are asking for.

But beware the fine police who will be on the look out for people not wearing any team colours.

When: 10am, Friday 4 September

Where: Woonona Bowling Club

Scared Stiff playing the Bowlo

Local Band Scared Stiff will be rocking the house this Sat night 11th July at 7.30pm. Jacko reckons they go alright (so you’ve been warned)

Come along and join in the fun, listen to some great music, dine on a fine meal and of course enjoy a couple of beers.

Look out Newcastle (Trip Away)

The Russell Vale Boys are heading North. Put it in your diaries and splash it loud and proud (or small and sneaky) on the calendar on the fridge.

We are heading to an establishment called Warners At The Bay (at Warners Bay…..Der) on the 23rd (Fri) and 24th October. Again this is Cox Plate weekend. There is a golf course 5 mins away, a championship course 15 mins away and sensational beaches 10 mins away. This pub has a courtesy bus, a good TAB area and…………………….TWENTY-FOUR craft beers on tap! (instant fine for anyone caught drinking VB or Tooheys).

Rooms sleep 2 and are very modern and comfortable. $55. Per night per person so $110 will cover your accommodation. We need a deposit by Friday, 29th May so I will cover that but if I can get $20 each from those keen to attend, that would be great.

It’s basically 3 hours away, so a little further but not by much and TWENTY-FOUR craft beers on tap!

More details to follow,

Cheers,

Marty

Australia v Chile – Woonona Bowlo

Australia’s first game of the 2014 World Cup will be against Chile. The game will be on live from 8am on 14 June and the Woonona Bowling Club has told us that they will be opening early to show the game at the club. Make sure you come down to support the Aussies, RVSC and the Bowlo.

A full cooked breakfast will be provided at half time courtesy of Jim and Russell Vale SC.

You can register if you’re attending at the following link. Registration is not mandatory, however it will give us an idea of numbers.
