G’day boys,
Regarding the above roster, organise changes where you need to as soon as possible. Doesn’t really matter who does bbq but we do need 3 for each home game, the exception being Round 1 where there is only one game at the ground. Some guys only have one duty (Craig, Jez, Botts and Max) so if you get stuck they’re the go-to guys.
Otherwise, get there and do the job and don’t forget you’re expected to help out with raffles monthly too. If you don’t, you’re on DETENTION!

The season launch has now been moved to 16 April 2016…. Suits Phil.
Some new mobile apps have been released that allow for some additional functionality and support all three major platforms Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
Some of the features of the Android and iOS versions allow players to set their availability for the coming weekend (or months in advance). You can also view other player’s availability, which will hopefully make choosing the team a little easier on the weekend. For the Windows Phone version you can currently only view availability – an update to change your availability will come soon.

FC won through to their third grand final in a row, after defeating Shell Makos 5-2 at Shellharbour (the ref says 6-2, but we can’t figure out where that extra goal came from. We are going to credit Dave Gordon though cause he’s a top bloke).
In a replay of last years Grand Final FC will be playing Port Kembla at 2pm, Sir Ian McLennan Park.
End of year presentation. 19 September from 6pm.
This years theme is TV characters. Fancy dress is MANDATORY, partners are encouraged.
The club will be putting some money on the bar, and dinner is included (Steak or Schnitzel)… any special meal requirements let Jim know.
All players are expected to attend.

As some of you may know, the wife of our own Jeremy Barnett, Kerryn, has been diagnosed with a chronic and severe illness. Kerryn’s treatment is not being covered by their health fund, so to cover the costs they are trying to raise funds through a number of avenues.

We should have taken up water polo instead of football.
Tonight’s game is obviously called off an has been rescheduled for 6 May. It’s also highly likely that the game against the non Anzac Day celebrating Shellharbour Mako’s will be off.
Following the washout last Saturday, FC’s game against Port Kembla Kings has been rescheduled for 29 April. The game has also been moved to Cawley Park. Time to be advised.
